Pride at Amazon
Proud to Be You
No matter how you identify, or who you love, you can find a place here — at an Amazon Warehouse. All of our associates celebrate, empower, and accept each other with understanding and compassion — our LGBTQIA+ associates created this vibrant community that impacts our warehouse and corporate workplaces.
We're here to support you

Empowering pronoun usage throughout our workplace
All Amazon associate profiles can share their pronouns to foster a more inclusive work environment, particularly for transgender or non-binary communities.
Continuous transition support
We support transgender employees as well as those seeking additional guidance on how to support someone who is transitioning with resources like our Transgender Toolkit and Workplace Transition Resources created by Amazonians from across the company. Additional support includes health benefits (hormone therapy, specialized and general surgical procedures, mental health resources, and fertility treatment benefits), communication plans for coming out at work, and more.
Ally resources
We provide guidance, resources, and answers for managers, coworkers, and Human Resources to support their LGBTQIA+ teammates.
Being a part of the LGBTQIA+ [community] has definitely contributed positively to Amazon. Last year, as part of that community within the company, I was in charge of bringing awareness to LGBTQIA+.
– Nathanael, Area Manager
Amazon Affinity Groups
We provide space for Affinity Groups that bring employees together across businesses and locations around the world to create communities with a cause.
Glamazon
Glamazon is an Amazon Affinity Group that began with one employee’s desire to meaningfully connect with other LGBTQIA+ employees. There are Glamazon chapters around the world and in your community that work to create inclusive workplaces. Glamazon invites anyone who supports diversity — in all its forms — to participate in the hundreds of community events to raise LGBTQIA+ awareness, including annual Pride celebrations.

Trans at Amazon
Trans at Amazon is an Amazon Affinity Group/Employee Network for anyone interested in Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming, and Gender Inclusive issues, events, meetings and information. Trans at Amazon‘s purpose is to foster safe and inclusive spaces for our community, educate Amazonians and the public about Transgender issues, and advocate for the creation and maintenance of the World's Best culture, benefits, systems, and policies for Transgender and gender-diverse Amazonians and customers.

Raising a Pride Flag
We raise a Pride flag to those who stand up to tell the world how proud they are of who they are. Neil Lindsay, Amazon VP of Worldwide Prime and Marketing, speaks on identifying this moment of pride, as well as on a new generation that is approaching diversity and inclusion with open arms.
Our employees create a proud and inclusive culture
With the help of our Glamazon employees, we continuously strive to create the most inclusive work environment possible. Amazon earned a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index for the sixth year in a row, ranking it among the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality."

Meet the Artist: Carmela Caldart
Help us celebrate Carmela Caldart (she/her), a Brazilian illustrator and animator currently based in Barcelona who has created custom illustrations for Pride. Her work strives to break down stereotypes about bodies by using bright colors, playful textures, and a touch of humor.
