Associates
What to expect
A separate team of Accommodation Consultants provides accommodation support to our associates. We provide a range of accommodations, including: sign language interpreters, site navigation assistance, screen reader and magnification tools, voice dictation software, and other assistive technologies.
Support when you need it
- On-the-job Accommodation which provides options to allow associates with qualifying disabilities or medical conditions to perform the essential functions of their job safely.
- Work Wellness Coaching provides virtual 1:1 coaching services to Amazon employees with qualifying disabilities or medical conditions. Coaching addresses workplace executive functioning opportunities, including, but not limited to: memory, organization, planning, focus, stress management, energy management, communication, and other related issues.
- Vocational Rehabilitation provides a variety of services to assist Amazonians in their return-to-work efforts. Our vocational rehabilitation consultants partner with the associate to understand their unique situations and help to provide an individualized plan of action.
- WorkingWell supports associate Health and Wellness Education engagement and early symptom intervention — focusing on personal wellbeing at work and at home.
- PwD Affinity Group is a community that supports associates who have mental and/or physical disabilities. Every year, AmazonPWD is a big part of Amazon’s Global Accessibility Awareness Month, and supports Accessibility Customer Experience Labs throughout the company.
- Mental Health and Well-Being is an affinity group all about employee wellness – reducing the stigma and bringing awareness of mental health in a safe community.
