Specific warehouse sites are offering multiple ways of commuting to work — and regular, non-seasonal associates can save money on their commute mode of choice.
Associates can save extra money on public transit, vanpools, and parking by setting aside funds ahead of time with pre-tax dollars.
“I’m grateful to be able to use the paid services to get back and forth [from work] while I save up for a car…these commuter benefits have been very beneficial to me financially.”

Frequently asked questions
What is the pre-tax commuter benefits program?
The pre-tax commuter benefits program is a tax-savings commuter benefits program offered by Amazon to certain eligible warehouse locations. It allows associates to deduct their monthly commuting expenses from their paycheck on a pre-tax basis, thus helping associates save on taxes that would have typically incurred as part of their regular income taxes. Associates can set aside a portion of their pre-tax income every month and put it toward their commuting costs.

How is this commuter benefit different from what we have previously?
The commuter benefit has not changed, however, there are new sites that have now become eligible this year due to local legislation changes.
What will happen if I do not use all my allocated money? Do my pre-tax elections roll over?
Unused pre-tax commuter orders roll over every year until the associate leaves Amazon. Any unused pre-tax dollars are lost the same benefit month that the associate leaves Amazon. Once the associate’s funds have been used for their commuter orders, they are not able to withdraw from Edenred. Associates are encouraged to consider how much they use monthly and allocate funds accordingly.
Where can I view and make changes to my commuter benefit order?
Associates can view and make changes to their orders by logging into their Edenred associates account.
What is the enrollment window for my commuter benefits?
Associates can place orders and make changes to existing orders by 11:59 pm EST on the 10th of the month prior to the benefit month.
