    Scout Field Operator

    Hourly pay rate: $16.70 or more

Answer yes to these questions and you’ll fit right into this position. The Amazon Delivery Experience team is looking for motivated, customer-focused Scout Ambassadors to join our team. As a Scout Field Operator, you will play a key role in keeping our commitment to exceed customer expectations, helping to ensure customer orders are delivered safely and on time. The feedback you gather will be critical to solving real-world challenges that will transform our customers’ experiences in new and exciting ways. We will give you the tools, training, and the support you need to invent with us in ways that are rewarding, fulfilling and fun.

    Scout Ambassadors are Amazon brand ambassadors! They cheerfully and energetically do the following: greet customers, support package delivery via robotic technology, and answer questions from the general public. You will work with a talented team to develop new and innovative delivery solutions while engaging and delighting Amazon customers on a daily basis. Your work will go beyond fulfilling customer orders; it’s about creating a connection with every customer.

    Responsibilities:
    • Work closely with technology and engineering teams to improve our technology and process.
    • Use handheld technology to support and manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles.
    • Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road.
    • Act as the voice of Amazon to our customers, and assist with customer questions, comments, and/or concerns in a positive, professional manner.
    • Ability to think on your feet to solve challenges quickly, create alternative solutions and make quick decisions.
    • Follow up on customer requests or problems with a solution oriented approach.
    • Sort and prepare a delivery route to meet customer promise.
    • Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition at all times.
    • Where appropriate, carry out delivery station activities including sortation and delivery van load out.
    • Flexibility is key; routes may vary day to day and operating procedures will evolve. Successful candidates must be flexible to work weekends and/or overnight shifts as needed.
    • Set core schedule, but be flexible with adjustments including additional hours and potential schedule changes depending on time of the year, peak seasons and other factors.
    Job Qualification
    Basic qualifications:
    • Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
    • High school, GED, or equivalent diploma
