Job Overview

Duties & Responsibilities

Some of your duties may include:
1. Coordinate support between drivers, Amazon warehouses, and third-party locations like grocery stores and restaurants
2. Interpret information from different sources and use good judgement to make sure deliveries are on time
3. Communicate with delivery partners ensuring on-time delivery
4. Solve for planned and unplanned events (traffic, weather, sporting & community events) that affect delivery routes
5. Identify issues and raise to management
6. Complete reports using standard tools/process
7. Use a computer, Microsoft Office, and Amazon software
8. Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and/or evenings
9. All work is executed on a computer through Amazon proprietary software and Microsoft Office
10. Communicate via phone/chat/email with various Amazon stakeholders to answer real time questions to remove barriers

Requirements:
Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety guidelines.
1. Strong computer skills, including multitasking, browser use, and good chat/IM etiquette
2. Strong writing skills
3. Experience communicating professionally with diverse audiences
4. Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
5. Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and/or evenings
6. Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all safety guidelines

Basic Qualifications:

High School, GED, or equivalent diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Strong computer skills using a transportation management system as well as Microsoft Office products
2. Good teamwork mentality: able to build trustworthy and supportive working relationships
3. Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
4. Five years of experience in customer support and/or distribution operations
5. Experience in transportation/dispatch industry is a plus
6. Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
